 Marii and Lindsey in Sweden
a girl recieved Christ with Lindsey on my team [in Uppsala, Sweden]!!! They've been hanging out for, well, almost as long as we've been here. Her name's Marii and she's actually from Estonia.
Lindsey met with her today to start follow up. When Lindsey suggested meeting on Wednesday Marii said "how about tomorrow?" How cool is that!? So Lindz and I went over it just before she met up with her.
We're seeing so much interest, even from those who claim to not be interested. So fun. The gospel is going out to Swedes and Turks and Americans and Canadians and Fins and Australians and Austrians and..... well that's all I remember right now. Of course we want to start something Swedish, but every student right? :)
Anyway~ just thought I'd pass on that incredibly encouraging praise!

A school in the US that partners with Uppsala had a breakout session for Sweden. There they prayed specifically by name for some Swedish students to come to Christ. That was at roughly 8 o’clock. While they were praying the students in Sweden were asleep, as it was after 2 AM. One of them, Marii, woke up just a few hours later and went to church. It’s neat to see God answering our prayers, even across continents and hemispheres! |
