Students at Oxford LibraryAs term began at Oxford University this year the team embarked on a huge project to give a DVD called Illuminate to every Oxford fresher. This short film is made up of three student testimonies and a gospel presentation. By now the distribution has been completed in almost all of the colleges, and Christian students and Agape staff have been going back round the halls to follow up students. This is a slow process but it has led to some great conversations.

Excitingly, a number of students have become Christians later in the term. Some have believed after seeing the DVD, and others through their relationships with believers. Please pray for them, that they will have firm foundations in their faith and be protected from spiritual attack.

Joel became a believer after spending a few weeks reading a gospel with someone from a local church.

William went to hear Malcolm, who is on the Illuminate DVD, give a talk in his college. Later in the week he became a Christian.

Heather did a Christianity Explored with Oxford team members and is now in our basic discipleship group. She has just recently said that she has opened the door of her life wide open to Jesus and that he has come in!

One of the students involved with the team called Angelina led her friend to faith after she watched the Illuminate DVD.

Finally, Alex has just come to faith days ago. Please pray for her as she faces some tough challenges as a new believer. Pray for Pam Robertshaw as she disciples her. Meanwhile, Johann and Hubert are earnestly seeking and meeting up with team members. Please pray for them.

There is much excitement about the people coming to faith this term. Last year, people were coming to faith on a weekly basis, and this year it seems the momentum is continuing and we are seeing even more fruit.
