  1. That anyone with Agape France, whover they are, would passionately, courageously and joyfully talk to their friends and other students about the Good News. ("I am proud of the Good News." Romans 1:16)
  2. That we would have at least 5 magnetic teams (Toulouse, Paris, Lyon, Rennes, Nantes).

- Movement teams (4 staff each with 5 multiplying disciples)

- Aix-en-Provence and Montpellier could also have solid staff teams.

  1. A multicultural team in Paris, having an impact on all the student cultures.
  2. Some kind of student house in each city.
  3. 2 stint teams/partnerships are developed outside of France.
  4. We would figure out how to expand our target audience to 15-25 years old.

Some prayer requests:

  • That God would raise many students from France to go to CM 2007 and China afterward.

  • That God would raise up many students inside and outside of France for the Paris Project, June 14-28 in Paris.

  • That we would see many people come to Christ yet this year!

  • That our students and staff would joyfully share the Good News of Christ.

Berne Switzerland

Stefan Weber

Image In April 2006 students of different Christian groups united for a whole week of prayer (24-7). That was great and strengthened unity. We believe God wants us to take another step: Come together as students from different backgrounds for prayer meetings (nights?) and make prayer a daily life priority (not only a nice prayer week and then stop). I trust God to show us how to do it and to start it. We're also trusting God for new students joining our groups. After some years of losing student team leaders we want trust God for new visionary leaders.

Salerno Italy

Drew McNeilItaly

  • Gathering and shepherding of the 40 new believers from the summer project (plus the 3 new believers from the past 2 days)
  • Continued harvest of Italian Students responding to bold proclamation of the Gospel.
  • Energy for our team to continue at (or near) the ministry pace of a summer project while students are on campus since they are only on campus for about 6 months out of the year.
  • Students gaining a vision for reaching their campus and nation for Christ and beginning to act on that vision by sharing Christ with others.
  • Community as a body of Christ among our team, among student believers, and among churches in and around Salerno.

Pisa Italy

Scott Ketrow

  • We are trusting God to lead us to freshmen; especially to freshmen who are prepared to discuss the gospel.
  • We are trusting God to show us how to and where to engage students in the places where they live 90% of their lives--outside of class.
  • We are trusting God to solidify a core of movement leaders--students who have internalized the necessity of seeing a spiritual movement of students in Pisa.

Riga Latvia

Aaron GroffLatvia

  • Viktor Chernyavsky at full support
  • Hold evangelistic events at 6 key universities in Riga (out of 39), hoping to connect with more non-Christians. (Sept 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28, Oct 17, 19, 26)
  • Hand out 10,500 evangelistic booklets into the hands of freshman students in 29 schools in Riga.
  • Offer an "English Club" to connect with more students
  • Offer some Christian seminars to connect with Christian students and work with multipliers already invested into. (October 10, 23)
  • Figure out most effective promotional strategies. (posters, flyers, handouts, surveys...)
  • Give our staff some theological training. (Nov 1, 7, Dec 5-6)
  • Offer bible studies. (October 16 & 20...)
  • Connect with Christians through movie nights and discussion on themes and what the bible says. (2x/month)

Helsinki, Finland

Virpi Nymanfinland

  • In Helsinki, Finland, we are trusting God for this semester that we would first of all find a new campus director since I am changing from campus ministry to training.
  • The second thing we need from God is that our plans for welcoming the new students through tutoring will be fruitful and we will have at least 10 new students joining us because of the special welcoming.
  • The third prayer is that the team of key students will renew itself, because there's going to be a change of generation (the older students giving their responsibilities to the new students).

Jyvaskyla, Finland
Laura Ketonen

In Jyvaskyla we are trusting God for this semester that many new students would come to our weekly meetings and at least 10 would find their place there. After and during this semester several key students will leave our team and we’re trusting God to bring us as many new ones.

We also have a temporary change of a campus director and we pray we would find a new staff member.

This semester we have opened a café for students every Wednesday and we’re trusting God to bring there our own students and that they would bring their friends there, too. Our wish is that the café could be a tool of evangelism and a meeting place for students.

Turku
, Finland

Vesa Siltala

  • We’re trusting God, this semester, that He will develop the Student prayer network further.
  • Our goal is to create city-wide prayer network for our town. We want to see God moving in our town and we have now seen various 24/7 prayer sessions, prayer rooms and two big prayer events in our national cathedral in Turku. We trust God, that He will bless this city and whole Finland through prayer. We are waiting and praying for God`s interaction for the whole nation. Website in finnish: www.rukousverkko.org

Thessaloniki, Greece

Sotiris & Katerina Striftouliasgreece

  • We are trusting God that this semester the Christian students will be more energetic in fulfilling the Great Commission and in multiplying themselves to non-Christian students.
  • We are trusting God for new leaders that will come out of our student team, and that they will be willing to help in building movements on Campus.
  • We are trusting God for the students that we already are in contact with on campus, that they will receive Jesus as their Savior (they come from an orthodox background).
  • We are trusting God for a prayer movement that students will take part in and see God's hand moving.

Salzburg, Austria

Andrew & Yvonne Moulesaustria

  • In Austria, I am trusting the Lord for more staff. It's what everyone in Agape Austria is also praying for, mostly to link up with people who have a vision for Austria. Things are happening on that front, with some staff coming next March and then into the next 2 years things seem more certain.
  • This means that I am continuing to do one on one contact evangelism/discipling mostly in Student halls, and using the German translation of "EveryStudent.com" big time at last.

Here are some COUNTRY-WIDE trusting God fors:

Italy

Scott Ketrow

In the campus ministry in Italy we are trusting God to:

  • Provide a core of young student spiritual leaders in each location who are passionate to see a student movement in their city who will make the gospel ubiquitous.
  • Give us grace and courage to discern where He is leading and to follow Him as He establishes a student movement in Italy in the way He desires.
  • Give those involved in the mission of the gospel an unshakable confidence in the power and glory of the gospel.

Latvia
Aaron Groff

  • Finding better strategies to connect with non-Christians.
  • Finding local support to support staff and campus ministry.
  • Finding qualified interns

Greece - prayer requests
Sotiris & Katerina Striftoulias

  • A student conference that will take place on 26-29 October. Deb Heefner and Chris McGuffy will be our guest speakers. Pray that the students will take the vision to reach their campus in a relevant way and that God will encourage them. Pray also that this conference will be momentum for the student ministry in Greece.
  • Please pray for Spyros, a new believer, to keep growing spiritually through the Bible studies. He comes from the Orthodox Church and he has also started to go to a Christian church. He is very enthusiastic about Jesus and talks to others about his new relationship with God.
  • Please pray for Maria, an intern that will help in student priority in Thessaloniki.
  • Please pray that the Bible study groups will be continued with the students from last year and that more non-Christian students will take part to them. We praise the Lord for the rooms of 3 Christian students at the dorms that have offered them for these Bible studies.
