Effective Studies in Albania
Here is a short report on the Effective Study Seminars last October in Albania:

Every team planned and tried to use the Effective Study seminars as the main strategy to attract the best students and personally connect with them.

Effective Studies in Tirana

In Tirana we had a Seminar in the University Building in the Faculty of Law, where about 100 students participated. There were 2 other ones in our Center where about 60 participated. Most of the students who have come to Christ in Tirana have been part of that seminar. Here is the story of Lando and Artan, told by our staff:

I met Lando, a second year computer science student, during the Effective Study Seminar. In the following event, when a well known Albanian singer shared his testimony and challenged all the students to make a decision to receive Christ, Lando made that decision too. After that meeting I was having a coffee with Lando and Visar, another student, and started to explain the Gospel to them when Visar stopped me by asking, "How can a Muslim, refering to my background, explain the Gospel to a catholic like me?!" To my surprise Lando said, "We can't be Christians because of our tradition, but only if we have repented and invited Jesus in our heart as our savoir." Our friendship is growing and he is now involved in bible study with me and walking close with the Lord, sharing his faith with his friends.

Artan is a first year student involved in our movement since the beginning of this school year. When we organized the Effective Study Seminar, I shared the 4-Laws with him and he received Christ. His passion for God and his zeal to share the Gospel are such an example for every student. The Effective Study strategy has worked very well on drawing those students who have a clear purpose and high objectives in their life. It is something that is in line with ttheir ambition to be good Students.

Effective Study Seminars were also hold in Vlora, Shkodra Elbasan and Prishitna-Kosovo.
