From Laughter to Dedication

When Urs Wolf was teaching Effective Seminar in Vilnius in September 2009, Irina was one of the more then 50 participants. When Urs shared about finding a personal relationship with God, Irina was the only student who laughed at the phrase “personal relationship with God”. Renata Ramanauskaite writes about the Follow up with Irina:

“I felt a little bit intimidated to follow up a student who is in a master's program of criminal psychology and was laughing at having personal relationship with God. Actually this was one of the easiest follow up meetings that I have ever had. Irina knows what she wants in life and had clear questions about God. Last September through December, we met to study the Gospel of John. When I returned from my trip to the US, I learned that Irina had made a decision to follow Christ. Irina is fun, outgoing and a true leader. This week she told me, “I would like to glorify God with my life and that when others look at me they would want what I have.” This was pretty impressive to hear from a brand new believer.”

The team from Vilinius has now the great opportunity to teach an “Effective study seminar” in the official Freshman Camp in August. Irina will be one of the teachers. She, 2 other volunteers and the team of Vilnius will have training from June 16th to 18th. Thanks for praying.
